With over 30 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, Liz brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and passion to every client she works with. Her expertise goes beyond styling, she is also a qualified Trichologist and a registered member of the International Association of Trichologists.
Trichology is the science of hair and scalp health, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of hair loss and scalp concerns. Liz is proud to offer these specialised services to anyone seeking answers, guidance, or support. She is more than happy to collaborate with your personal hairdresser in complete confidence to ensure the best outcome for you.
Known fondly as the "Queen of Curls," Liz also has a deep love for working with natural texture and curl patterns, helping clients embrace their hair with confidence and care.
Meet Amy — Curl Specialist, Colour Innovator, and Rising Star
Amy’s passion for hairdressing shines through in every client she meets. Now in her third year at About Hair Mackay, she has already accomplished so much and she’s just getting started.
With specialised training in curly hair care, Amy excels in techniques that enhance and celebrate natural curl patterns. She’s dedicated to helping clients understand, maintain, and fall in love with their unique texture, all while prioritising healthy hair rituals.
Amy also has a flair for creative colouring, combining technical precision with an artistic eye to deliver vibrant, personalised results. Amy’s commitment to her craft was recognised on an international level. She took first place in the NATULIQUE Innovation UK Colouring Competition, A proud moment for both Amy and our team!
